The Saint James Company is in the process of acquiring three New Zealand Wineries, namely Lawson’s Dry Hills, Waimea Estates and Gravitas Wines, to be consolidated into newly-formed The New Zealand Wine Group. Each winery is independently profitable, and brings complementary assets to the consolidated entity.
Lawson’s Dry Hills

Marlborough based aromatic wine specialist selling in premium and super-premium markets. The vineyards were planted in 1980, and the current company began operations in 1992. Produces Sauvignon Blanc, Pinot Noir, Chardonnay, Gewurztraminer, Pinot Gris, Riesling & Pinot Rose.

Waimea Estates

Founded in 1993, it is now one of the largest producers in the Nelson Bay area, selling premium to super-premium award winning wines, with substantial capacity for further growth. Has easy access to the local port for international shipping and a renowned on-site café.
